French clock

This night we changed the time!

Yeah in France we r able to do it!! yeah!!

So now wa have only 3h n half of difference with Bharat, 3h30 less. Yeah because may be u dont know but before yesterday we got 4.30 of difference.

But every year it is same story. Ok i explain: we have summer time (daylight saving time for the english name) n winter time. So when we r in summer time (started from yesterday night) we reduce 1 hour n when we r in winter time (from november) we add 1 hour to the summer time.

Ok may be it is a bit weird. The reason is because of the oil bankrupt in 74 (im not sure of the date), so it was very costly to use energy, so they decided, to change the hour between winter n summer, like this we can enjoy more of sun light n we dont use energy...It is good idea, but i think it is not enought, because in winter the sunset is at 5.30pm, so after this everyone light on, it would be better if we could have 1 hour more again. The consequences of this is also that in summer we can enjoy until 10pm because it is not night. The consequences for me: im very tired because i loose this night 1 hour of sleep...(n 3 months ago i loose 4.30 hour...). N every year u have some "lost" people who forgot to change their clock or their alarm clock...

Other european coutries are doing it too, but i dont remember which one...

Bells, eggs, rabbit n chocolate

It is not Alice's adventures in wonderland, today it is only Easter. Ok i told u that in France we r not religious, that we r a secular or lay country, n moreover i dont believe in God (as a lot of French people) but we still have christian habits. After some time, i m sure that a lot of French people dont know what is the meaning of Easter, but finally we dont care it is a hollyday: sunday n monday, so shops r closed n it is time of family functions, chocolate (yeah a bit like chrismas).

In the French tradition, it is said that bells bring chocolate, so parents hide eggs, rabbits, hens, bells in chocolate in the garden. I dont remember that my parents did it, but i ate a lot of chocolate because everybody offer u. Always my granmother has given me money to enjoy the whirligigs coming for Easter in my village. Still now i have money (of course i dont go to whirligis) this is the opportunity to be bachelor n without kids in contrary to mu cousins sisters (im the younger). In the culinary tradition, we r used to cook lamb with flageolet (a kind of peas, very good if u have intestinal problem...), n for dessert my grandma was used to cook "island flot" a kind of light custard sauce with the white of the eggs...ok i cant explain it is a sweet dish

with a massepain (marzipan for the translation). N so all the day from 12am to 4.30pm eating (this was for today). But because im from a culinary region we ate "foie gras" (duke liver pate), red wine, n champagne, this is only extra  ;-) ....
